November/December, 2002
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus! It is our privilege to share with you what the Lord is continuing to do here in St. Petersburg. We thank God for you and your continued prayers, encouragement, love, and financial support. You are an important part of all that God is doing here, and we pray for you regularly.
BIBLE SCHOOL
The students in the Bible school are continuing to study the Word of God. We are thankful to see transformation and growth in their lives as they apply what they are learning. They are growing in responsibility and desire to know and serve God.
We are contuning to distribute audio tapes and other materials through our correspondence school. These teachings are reaching many that do not have the opportunity to come and study at the school in St. Petersburg.
EVANGELISM
We are continuing to have concerts at our building once a month. Several young people came to the Sunday service after attending the last concert. The Lord keeps giving words of knowledge and prophetic messages to unbelievers. Please agree with us that God will continue to guide us as to the best way to reach people through the concerts.
Every Friday and Saturday the evangelism team works at our coffee house while other people are on the streets witnessing. A couple of weeks ago, some girls from Karelia came to spend the weekend in the city. They visited our coffee house and two of the girls prayed to receive the Lord. Please pray for them to find a local church where they will be able to grow in the Lord.
Vanya found a lost wallet filled with money and personal information. He called a telephone number that was inside. Sergei, a 21 year old, came to the coffee house to pick up his wallet. God gave Vanya a great opportunity to share the Gospel with him. Sergei was very glad, thankful and open to the message.
GOD’S SPIRIT BRINGS HEALING
During one of our Sunday services, Victor received a word of knowledge about someone having difficulty breathing. After the service a lady came to him for prayer and was healed. During pre-service prayer on Sunday, the Lord put on Victor’s heart that someone had a problem with rejection and abandonment by parents. Some people came to talk and asked for prayer.
Olga got an impression from the Lord that some one was in need of healing in their knee. Three people came to her for prayer. The next day, all were pain free and one mentioned that the bruising was gone.

On December 28th, we will be having our annual Christmas
celebration, where we feed the poor, and thank God for all of His care, protection,
and provision. We gather together a large number
of
former addicts from various churches and ministries and celebrate God’s goodness
and miraculous power to heal and transform lives. This celebration time will
cost approximately $1500 to feed and care for 300 people. We would appreciate
your prayers for this.
John and Sara have recently returned from the United States, where they visited a number of churches and ministries. They wish to thank all of the pastors and churches who were such an encouragement and help.
There has been a lot of work updating our website. The English portion is up and running and we are working on the Russian version.
James Sanford, a missionary from Canada has come to help us in ministry. He is a tremendous blessing and help to us.
Thank you again for your love, friendship, prayers and support. We really appreciate you, and thank God for you, your love and all your help. We pray that you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed and fruitful New Year!
