Every day we meet young people on the streets who are addicted to heroin and
receive phone calls from them and their parents, crying out for help and freedom
from their addiction. Their main question is: What can I do?
Working together with several other Christian rehab centers, we interview and
screen addicts, making sure that they get all of their necessary medical tests
and documents before going to one of the rehab centers. We have sent more than
100 addicts to different centers over the past three years.
In the past, we have opened our homes to drug addicts who
have cried out to God in repentance for their sins, and received His saving
grace and deliverance from their addictions. These were people who had shown
a hunger for Christ, desired a deeper relationship with Him, and had the ability
and humility to learn from others. We have taken in 30 such people over the
past three years.
In several cases, there were former addicts who received
God's forgiveness, instantly got delivered of their addiction and return home
to lead a functional life without drugs and without going through rehabilitation.
We have a documented healing from HIV. Several others have been healed from
hepatitis and a number of other healings as well.
